Teak A-Grade
Teal (Tectona Grandis) The type of wood we use is so-called "A-grade" i.e. the finest teak available in the world, extracted from the core of the wood. This wood has a higher oil content than other teak and is therefore particularly suitable for marine environments and outdoor furniture. The logging takes place under controlled conditions and is FLEGT certified.

Your Teak Furniture
In order for you to enjoy your furniture for many years, it must be taken good care of. This means that you should follow the recommendations we give.
Wood is, as you know, a living material that is always moving and affected by external conditions such as moisture, cold and heat. Cracks can always occur in the surfaces, but have no effect on the durability of the furniture. We recommend the following for care, depending on how you want the furniture to look.
Light Brown Luster
Wipe the furniture dry, sand lightly with fine sandpaper, grit size 120 -180. Then oil the furniture with good quality teak oil once a year or as needed.
Warm silver gray
Wipe the furniture once when it is new. Then maintain it with yellow soap once a year. The furniture will then become a beautiful silver-gray after about 2 years.
Recommendation
Teak of this quality is a material that can withstand being left outside all year round, but to maintain the condition and function of the furniture for longer, we recommend bringing the furniture inside for the winter.
Well-cared-for garden furniture often becomes more beautiful over the years as it acquires its very own patina.
Warning! Rags with oil can ignite spontaneously!
